Confusion is the state of being bewildered or unclear in one's mind about something. Yes, confusion which is something I felt before, during, and even after watching the play, "Ang Tatay Mong Kalbo"
Our professor in our English Enrichment Program class told us to watch Ang Tatay Mong Kalbo last October 10, 2015 at MPH1 by the Teatre Phileo.
I felt confusion because I can't understand what they're doing during the whole play. I can't even understand why they are saying those things and why those events are happening. There is this one time where the characters are talking about something, a person to be specific. They are talking about people who has the same names and yeah, it's really confusing. I am very amazed about this one character, Maria because I can say that she really contributed in the entertainment the play has given and I'm really shocked that she is the love interest of Hepe. We've been told (before the start of the play) that the play has no specific plot and has no flow of the story. So even though I expected it, I didn't thought it would be that confusing.
The confusion that the play has given to us doesn't mean that it's an epic play. It is actually the opposite. It brought a lot of entertainment. It is obvious that the people behind the play really prepared for that day and they really spend more time practicing for it. The characters has good acting and the setting is great. It has only one place to show all the events but I think it's good because It's more confusing if it has many set-ups throughout the play. All in all, The play is amazing and I think the play shows irony that's why it's like that. We're so lucky that we've watched that play and witness that kind of style.
I agree about your blog about "Ang Tatay Mong Kalbo". Yes, It's a bit confusing but entertaining. You're blog is really good and I like how you describe the play. Good job girl :)
